Goa is one of the Western States in India with coastlines stretching along the Arabian sea. It is the smallest state by area and fourth smallest state by population. Fort Aguada
It is an incarnation of Portuguese architecture built in the 17th century. It is a lighthouse and the fort itself have braved the damages of time caused which is on the beach of Sinquerim Beach which is 18 km from Panjim. It was built for the protection from dutches and Marathas and the view from the fort is breathtaking as it overlooks the meeting junction of Mandovi river and Arabian sea.

Dudhsagar Falls
This fall is a pleasant change in landscape for a destination that is known for its sunny beaches and inviting waves. The falls are little inside from Panjim which is approximately 60 km away. This is one of the hundred highest waterfalls in the world.

Basilica of Bom Jesus

It is one of the perfect examples of baroque architecture which is built in the year 1594 and declared scared in the year 1605. This was a sign of the beginning of Christianity in India and the church is located in Bainguinim about 10 km away from Panjim. This church has been declared a world heritage site by UNESCO.

Anjuna Beach

The rocky shores and a free, happy vibes Anjuna is the beach for you and it is the most popular beaches in North Goa. The visit to the Anjuna becomes more exciting with bungee jumping from an 80 ft tower and other water sports like paragliding and windsurfing.

Flea Markets

There are a couple of famous flea markets like Wednesday afternoon Anjuna market. Even the Saturday night market which is very good for shopping. You can buy things like special tea to Kashmiri carpets. Do not forget to bargain otherwise you might end getting up ripped off.

Colva Beach

The most popular beach in South Goa and the beach has a lovely stretch of white sand which extends for nearly 25 km. There are dozens of cater to the needs of visitors so food and drinks are very easy to lay hands on. Sight-seeing opportunities which also include the white-washed Goa lady of mercy church built in 1630.

Museum of Christian Art

It was built in the year 1994 and is a major tourist attraction in Goa and the residents of Goa are very artistic people and they love their art. The museum contains artworks of only Christians and this is a very unique museum.
