What do you think when someone mentions garage? The first thought that would pop in your mind would be cars. Right! That’s what garage is for – parking cars. Just when you thought it could offer nothing more than that. It was this garage where David Brennan created Barefoot Bynum Burgundy in 1965. The name is quite peculiar and it stands for the free-spirited method of crushing grapes barefoot. Hence, the name Barefoot

History
In 1986, entrepreneurs Michael Houlihan and Bonnie Harvey took the charge and renamed the brand as Barefoot Cellars and created the footprint label. The brand with the unconventional name and logo stood out from other brands. It became popular, leaving an everlasting impression on the customers. Since its inception, the brand has flourished over the years. In 1995, it offered only four wines and now they offer more than 30 wines in the United States only.

In 2005, the brand associated with E.& J. Gallo Winery which took the brand to another level. This association opened doors to international markets and has become one of the most recognized wine brand. It made its way to Australia in 2014 which is taken care by their winemaker Jen Wall. She ensures the quality and tastes of the wines is not compromised.

Wines
The brand offers various types of wines. Be it red, white or sparkling wines. They have got it all covered! Barefoot Riesling wine is one of the best wine you can get. It is a fruit-driven wine with the delicious flavours of tangy lemons and juicy apples. You can add Barefoot Riesling wine in your wine collection. It will be worth it.

New Experiments
The brand experiments a lot with their wines. Usually, wines come in bottles but they have launched wines in a carton shape packaging with a tap. Once opened, it remains fresh for a period of 30 days. No wonder the unconventional methods like the barefoot logo or wine in a carton with a tap like juice, the brand has a quirky vibe.

They also worked around a new idea and introduced Barefoot Spritzers which can be enjoyed for any occasion. It is wine in a can just like coca cola. It comes in many flavours such as Red Sangria Spritzer, Crisp White Spritzer, Moscato Spritzer and Rosé Spritzer.

That was quite a successful journey. Started in the garage the brand has marked its presence in the wine world with its creativity and premium wines. Order Barefoot wine online on Just Wines.
